My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I am Zubair Khawar , a Textile Designer by profession with a thirst for exploration and adventure. Mind you I have not always been the adventurous type, in fact the places I have visited can be easily counted on my finger tips and can be found within Pakistan's border. My most recent 'adventure' has been an almost broke trip from Islamabad to Peshawar and back to Lahore via Islamabad. But my fascination with this world is growing as I grow and look for a purpose in life. At almost 26 years old, I count myself as a barely starting explorer and look forward to enjoying the world, one city at a time.

The road to realizing this dream is filled with challenges and difficulties. I am very aware that I will be tested a lot before I can even save the cash to buy a good professional camera. At my current stage, the Greenland Travel Photography Scholarship is just what I need to get groomed and trained for the tough field of travel photography. I have the passion, I have the vision, all I want is the right guidance to get going and this scholarship can provide me with exactly that.
