My name is Valerie, and I am the creative force behind my travel blog, Valerie & Valise. I have had the opportunity to travel and write throughout Europe and the U.S., and even took a trip to China for just one week while I was living in London!
I've written occasionally for Lonely Planet and just had my first piece published in Yahoo Travel, but my life isn't all eloquent writing and glamorous jetsetting -- I work a "9-to-5" as a Marketing Manager for a tech+food startup in Seattle, where I call home base.
