My second trip, just near
Singapore. It’s Malaysia. Well, I have aunty who lives in Malaysia so this trip
has two missions. Besides having holidays, I got message from my parents to
visit my aunt. I went there last month with my little sister. Because my aunt
lives in Johor Baru, I decided to interchange in Woodlands Singapore which is
nearer to go to Johor Baru than from Kuala Lumpur. It was raining when I landed
at Changi airport. The great thing is, my parents bring some presents for my
aunt that made me brought so heavy bag while transit at Woodlands. Well, it can’t
be helped. This is the bond of family.
My little sister didn’t have
much time because she had to attend class after holidays ended. So we planned
to stay only a day in my aunt’s house and then go to Kuala Lumpur for two days
and back to my aunt’s house again for a day then back to Indonesia via Changi
Airport again. As we arrived at my aunt’s house, we felt so homey that we both
lazy to got up and go to Kuala Lumpur. Why should I go to Kuala Lumpur? My friends
had already there, we planned to have a trip together but they’ve arrived at
Kuala Lumpur first. Well then, we got to Kuala Lumpur by bus. So excited when
we arrived at Kuala Lumpur. That day we’re just go straight to our dorm in
Bukit Bintang. Got a chit chat and then we went to Bukit Jalil, Masjid Jamek,
Masjid India, and not forgetting Twin Tower. We’re too tired that day and will
continue in the next day.
In our dorm there were so
many foreigners. I was so excited to meet them all. Even at night I didn’t have
much sleep because I mingled with new friends, talked so many things and
exchange stories. I was so happy to meet new friends, some even exchange contacts.
I really miss Isabel, Patrick, Diana, Luba, Caroline, Park Sanghyun, and others. In the morning we got breakfast and still share
stories. After breakfast, we’re going to Chinatown and around Bukit Bintang. The
weather wasn’t good enough, always rain. Though I brought umbrella, the rain
was so heavy that made us wait for a moment until it’s subsided.
It’s still drizzling when we
walked around Chinatown. Still, we’re having fun. My friend was getting so
crazily shopping because it’s her first time going abroad and found some cheap
goods. I wasn’t that into goods, but special food is a must to try. We’re so
tired of walking and decided to go back to dorm before we continue the trip to
KL tower. What’s funny is everytime we went to the street, the rain dropped and
after we arrived to some place, the rain stopped. Waiting for the rain stop, we’re
playing around Berjaya Times Square and taste some food. I was eager to taste
Kopitiam. I had a friend who has ever lived in Malaysia and told me that it’s
nice. And it’s indeed! I really want to go to taste some food again at
Kopitiam.
Finished satisfying our
stomach, we went to KL tower to watch beautiful view at night. Again, after we
got out from LRT station, the rain poured so heavily. And what’s more the bad
weather? When we arrived to the gate of KL tower, it’s already closed. It seems
that we’re taking too much time to find the way and keeping ourself away from
the rain. I thought the rain loves us so much that it didn’t leave us for a
second. Well, we’re just satisfied ourself by taking some pictures of KL tower
from far away.
We’re back to our dorm and
repackage our stuff for the next day. As for me and my little sister would go
to Johor Baru, while my friend to the KL airport. And then I and my sister
spent a day at my aunt’s house then go to Woodlands interchange. But before went
to Changi, we visit Mustafa Center first. I was still hold grudge because last
time I haven’t visited Mustafa Center yet. We spent only for an hour at Mustafa Center and then went to Changi. I feel that my holidays just not
enough. I just made simple preparation so that I couldn't optimize it. Well then, next stop : Hong Kong and South Korea~!
