I am a keen amateur photographer and love nothing better than taking my Nikon for a walk, be it in my home town of Manchester or when I'm on my travels. I recently spent nine months travelling around various countries in Europe and my camera was my constant companion. I love capturing people and places; architecture both ancient and modern. I also love over-grown places that seem lost in time - more than anything I like to show a side to places that will change people's preconceptions or encourage people to think about things in a different way. I believe I have a lot to learn and that if I was chosen I could improve my skills as well as reach more people with the stories I try to tell.
