To be true with you, I really didn’t know what to expect of this course, but with every thing that we have saw and learn I can assure you that I am extremely happy that I have chosen this class. I will explain all my realisation and understanding in chronological order from the beginning of the trip until the last activity.
First, the enormous summer residence was amazing and the fact that there was a bomb of the 2nd world war that have landed on the roof directly on the emplacement of the war painting but didn’t blew up was actually what i call a turn of faith. That means for me that there is a lot of things that are happening in life for a reason but without explication and it is pretty amazing for a coincidence.
I was also really impressed by the fact that the Princess Marie-Antoinette was actually part of the Habsbourg family and Austria as well, it made me realized how much the Habsbourg family had such a enormous power and they were practically every were in Europe. Making some tremendous blood link with the most distinguish royal families. For example, the other princesses that married Napoleon and their child who was living in the actual summer residence of the royal family.
The picture of Maria Teresa were every body pointed at here to express the fact that she was in charge of every thing and not his husband and as well as the fact that the children that were more important were standing beside here on the right side of the painting. I actually made a link between the generation of the Habsbourg and I arrived at the conclusion that the last emperor ¨Franc Joseph ¨ had to be a descendent of a child of Maria Teresa that was standing on the right side.
During the evening, we all when to this magnificent Opera. I know that each and every single person in the group was really exhausted and that we all did a little nap but I really appreciated and enjoyed my experience at the opera, it was the first time that I actually had the chance to watch one and was really impress by the power of the voice of the signers who had no technology what so ever to amplified their voice, the building was exquisite and I totally felt that I was part of the rich monarchy.
