Childhood:

A local kid fishing at one of the greatest lakes in the region. The lake is a tourist attraction making it a bit easier for the locals to make their living.

Childhood: A local kid fishing at one of the greatest lakes in the region. The lake is a tourist attraction making it a bit easier for the locals to make their living.

Left Alone:

A Bulgarian Muslim, living in an age-old, isolated village. She told us, the curious excited tourists: 'It looks beautiful, but we're struggling on our own here'.

Daily Routine:

A road cleaner, looking insignificant compared to Nature's might. This is a very dangerous, narrow mountain road, and the very existence of a man, sweeping the dust there, seemed unreal.
