A women celebrates Ganesh Chaturi festival in Mumbai, India.

Men bring a statue of the Hinud god Ganesh into the water at Chowpatty beach, Mumbai. After bringing the statue of Lord Ganesh to the Ocean, they will then immerse the statue in water, drowning it, in tribute to the God.

It takes many men to bring this large statue of Lord Ganesh to the ocean at Chowpatty Beach, Mumbai. This larger statue need more assistance than smaller counterparts.
