“I didn’t even know you where there!”
People have varying motivations for being a photographer, personally its the moment when I get ‘the shot’. The highest compliment for me is that the subject didn’t know I was there. This reminds me that the presence of the camera can alter events, and the best method for truthful representation is to be an active observer.
In one week I will graduate a Bachelor of Photography. The most valuable lesson I have learnt is the need to be driven. I have come understand the complex nature of storytelling and have a keen motivation and determination to seek out and utilize opportunities, no matter how challenging the situation. I am aware there is so much more to learn but I believe I need only the slightest suggestion to feel confident in my direction -I strive to maintain a pragmatic approach to fulfilling expectations.
I am excited by the opportunity to expand my knowledge and receive direction and instruction, particularly from such a vibrant and inspiring opportunity. I am naturally energetic, adventurous and optimistic. I love to be outdoors and being active. Most of all, I love a challenge and will always work hard to get the job done.
