Who is writing this journal? I am!! Who am I? I am a mountain biking enthusiast that loves to travel. As of this entry, I am 42 years old. I have a wife and 3 kids and love spending time with them. However, I also believe that I have to make time to see things before I grow too old, get too busy, become poor, or die!!!
I've been in the engineering business for 20 years, though I quit that career two years ago and now help manage 3 veterinary clinics that my wife and I own. Occasionally I get to travel outside of the US and thoroughly enjoy it! I just started doing this as I was either working, starting businesses, or raising kids.
I started this journal so that I can look back at them and cherish. I also want my kids to understand what it means to travel. My kids are currently 12, 10 and 4 years old. When they are old enough I want them to go with me, but until then I hope they enjoy these stores.
I am by no means am a crazy adventurer doing mind boggling 20 ft jumps on a bike. I am an average mountain biker that combines this passion with travelling. I love the adventure races that completely challenges myself physically and mentally.
