My Scholarship entry - From Russia to Venice

I was born in Russia and I live in Italy: since I was 5 yo I loved India (actually don't know why India exactly) but didn't know anything about the world. At the age of 7 I started travelling in Europe, but I came back to Russia only one year ago: in that occasion I bought myself a Nikon D3100, thinking that I would never take simple pictures of my life there (that country known but a bit forgotten) with the smartphone. And right since I have started reading, I always read about other countries, cultures, traditions, faces, thoughts, feelings, colours, smells, food, with the purpose to live travelling and not missing anything that world offers. Now, my Nikon is with me so often, the photography like a drug, trying always to capture the beauty I see. I'm sure that here, all those people who will aplly should be better than me on photography, but I want to try: I have my Passion, I'm curious about the world and I have to learn a lot about photography (with Jason Edward?! WOW). Also, I have travelled not so much out of Europe and my list of dreams is so long, I don't want to be those people who say "I'm young, I will have the occasion", I want to take THIS occasion with the hope.
