2.the numbers of the house are painted above the doors but it’s impossible to follow the numbering. Otherwise the colour palette they create with the strong pink plaster wall and the mud green wood door in a sunny day is brilliant

Venice, one of the most touristic and loved city in the word. Thousands of picture are taken there from Piazza San Marco to Canal Grande and along the canals and the “calle”. For me is quite a familiar place, only few hours from my city and so I have the chance to be there quite often. I prefer to take pictures of small details and colours that still make this city unique every time I visit it.

1.going around, reading the name of churches, bridges and “sestrieri” (the venetian neighbourhood) to orient ourselves

3.another colour, the ochre, with a variety of different shades made by the high humidity that surrounds the city and permeates all its buildings. I’ve been fascinated by the contrast with the white lamp that is also changing its colour into a warm ochre a cause of the rust
