Food N water please ... Put bird boxes and feeders outside your house or in your gardens. Water-bowls or a bird-bath in the hot summer afternoon helps birds to re-hydrate. This encourages some of the common birds to come back.

Struggling for food N water. Due to vanishing of water sources like well, lake and non-availability of grains making them to struggle. Earlier grandmothers used to sit in the courtyard and separate grains from stones and husk. Today, small shops are getting replaced with supermarkets with manufacturing set-ups elsewhere. Grains are hard to find for the sparrows...

Otherwise soon I will be part of History !!!!! Yes this can happen if we doesn't wake up and do something to bring them back...Sparrows, which have been an intricate part of the city’s environment, are now practically unseen owing to urban development eating up their nesting space. Let us join hand to get them back.....
