"Follow your dreams, do what you love". This is often distilled in us as young children. Somehow between school and growing up, this message gets lost along the way.

I'm 28 and live in in Melbourne, Australia. I studied business for 4 years and have worked at various organisations in my chosen field, however, no matter how many wins, there is always something missing. It's the pure passion and love of my craft. With photography & travel, that passion and burning desire to learn, is very much alive. Realising this, I have recently enrolled into a Diploma of Photography and I'm finally working towards my dream to be a professional photographer.

I love to seek beauty in everything, from a child's face that lights up over a small toy, or the way the sun flickers through leaves of a tree on a Summer's day. That moment in time, communicated through an image, that can never be replicated.

I believe I have the drive and creativity to succeed as a photographer and I'd love an opportunity that will put my dream on the right path to becoming a reality. If I'm chosen for this scholarship, I will do my best to go above and beyond to deliver quality moments that inspire.

My Photo Journal Description:
As the sun set on 2012, people from all around the world gathered in small town of Lorne on the Great Ocean Road to bring in 2013 at The Falls Festival. A vibrant mix of colour, energy and rythmic beats infiltrated Erskine falls over the three days, with the beach a welcoming end to the year just past.
