Festivals light up people's lives and help them get away from their routine job and stress, for a change. What I love about Navratri specifically is the enthusiasm and craziness among the people. Inspite of their busy schedules, they somehow manage to find time to play garba for 9 days until midnight. I love how colourful this festival is and probably that’s the reason I need to take you along with me to experience it because talking about it doesn’t make much of a difference as much as showing does. Currently I’m pursuing my BFA in Filmmaking with a specialization in Screenwriting and Direction from AISFM in Hyderabad, India. My goal in life is to be one of the best Travel Filmmakers. There are so many festivals in the world and stories of people which I want to bring it forth to a much wider audience. I have a typically fun way of approaching it. I want to capture the most serious issues and show it in a captivating manner. Winning this scholarship and mentoring Brian Rapsey will teach me a lot of stuff so that whenever I see something interesting next time I wouldn’t give it a second thought and I would know how to go about with it spontaneously, confidently and flawlessly.
