My photos explain a part of my culture that was unknown to me till recently. They were taken this summer in Huancayo a city near The capital (Lima) not very know but with a lot of nice and cultural places to see. The colors and the joy of each member in every community makes you feel welcome and part of the festivities.
I wanted to show everyone this great party called "Carnaval" it ´s celebrated every weekend during the month of february and it will amazed you.
My name is Romina, I am a student at the University of Lima. I am 22 almost 23 and photography is my world. Every time and at every hour i wish i had a camara in my hands. I started taking pictures with film at 2008 and i just fell in love with the whole process. I´ve been trying to teach myself and i think travelling and capturing difrent moments have made a difference in me.
I love adventures and try to get out of the city every time i can.
I think every place has is beauty, you just have to learn how to find it and how to capture it as well.
Traveling and taking photos is my dream not only because i get to experience a new thing every time, but because i get to bring a part of that joy i had to everyone that can get to see my pictures.
