Last year in monsoon many villages in Uttarakhand were completely distorted due to 'Cloud Burst'. This project is about photographing the changing landscape of uttarakhand due to natural calamities, Dry rivers, landslide, flood, cloud bursting is a common occurrence. Past year monsoon caused a heavy disaster, heavy landslide, ransacked villages, destroyed farms, disconnected roads, all says the mournful saga of climate change & mans cruelty towards mother nature.
If we look close into the casualties they raise a question of what went wrong? And we as a human being know the answer but we are ignorant and between this awareness and ignorance there stand uttarakhand and its people, fearfully waiting for another monsoon, praying to lord for mercy this time.
