Dekapentavgoustos is an important celebration day in Greece, that you spend with family and friends. Unfortunately I was shooting a Christening at a village,far away from home. I reached the village early in the morning.It was 2 hours before the ceremony, so I got a greek coffee. Even though I was around a lot of people, during the job, I felt a little lonely. I realized that more, when I had to leave because my job was finished.
I finished a school of photography a few years ago and I think the most difficult thing is to express yourself through a unique style in photography. Especially now with digital cameras, photos are very similar and photographers planning at post production. I'm trying to be strong at the basics and I hope to find a way to show another point of view. I give time to that and also at the place before I shoot.
I know that if you are capable to manage that belief where you live, you can do great things when traveling. But sometimes you need something new to find your way, because daily routine destroys your creativity.
