My Scholarship entry - Tropical hell

Really close to the paradisiac and expensive maldivian resorts, there are a lot of unknown island where the local population live in tremendous and unknown conditions.

This island in particular is a real open-space dump: the beaches are fully covered of any kind of junks starting from the tea bags to the soap plastic bucket, trash bags, sharp aluminum laminates are thrown around everywhere and really threaten the normal fruition of a tropical island.

The island doesn’t have have kind of infrastructures as restaurants or similar; it’s an amount of shacks and muddy soil resultant of building materials from buildings under construction

Thera are a few possibility of leaving the island as the public transfer is among just 2-3 islands and it is working each 2 days only 2 time per day. The other solutions would be to rent an expensive speedboat or -an even more expensive one - buying a ticket for an hydroplane.

This is really far from the stereotype of tropical paradise.
I was born in Naples, city full of beauty and contrasts; here i started to lean how to observe an heterogeneous context, how to behave in relation to it and then how to capture it.
I think I can be a good candidate for this project for will of discovering, solid experience in different fields of phptpgraphy and my capability of getting in in contacts with very different kind of environments and people: african immigrants in italy, sri-lankan population, post-sovietic countries, exclusive italian club for men, fashion environment.
