Hi! My name is Anastasia and amongst other things i can be described as a meticulous researcher. That's why it took me almost 5 years to buy my first SLR camera. Yes, 5 years! Since then i've been indulging in photography whenever i get the chance, always striving to outdo myself; always driven to capture that perfect photo.

Why do i enjoy photography so much?

Because it's the lens through which i see the world; the focus through which i make sense of the world. Because it's a craft that can say so much whilst showing so little. Because one photo can touch a person's heart and spark in them a lifetime of inspiration. Because a single photo can remind you that time never stands still and you have to appreciate the now. Because with just one click...anything is possible!

I would love to pursue a career in photography but i know how hard that can be, especially for someone like myself who has no formal training in this art form. I'm simply guided by instinct. That's why i am applying for the scholarship - becasue real world experience with Jason Edwards would be the best education of all - because i'd be learning from a master.
