Chile - poetry, spring and love

Chile | Wednesday, January 9, 2013 | 5 photos

I’m writing from a little Italian café at San Pedro St where the smell of coffee takes us back into the world of Lewis Carroll. My fingers slide over the keyboard while my eyes behold a photograph of Fellini’s Dolce Vita. A moment, I’m Marcello Nastroianni with a confident, deep, and beautiful look, staring at the beauty of Anita Ekberg, she is dancing, charming, she has sparkling lips with warm colors.

What is photography? Is it a reflection of itself in the other, a fine line between the dance of life and of eternity, a trace of what is beautiful in itself in this world, a poem without words shrouded in emotions, flowing between our eyes to pour its vitality?

With an adventurous nature, I found in photography the harmonious balance between poetry, spring and love, and a amazing tool to share my travels. After 3 years working for an NGO in West and Central Africa, I chose to make a fresh start. Beyond the undeniable photographic skills, this is a wonderful opportunity to write a new story to the wakening of my senses that could pollinate many others through National Geographic.

The sound of jazz brings me back to reality, how long did I remained in Wonderland? What a delight.
