I am a 33 year-old, recently divorced, traveling gringa who doesn't use her real name to protect the innocent. (Mainly, my parents, my ex, and my more, ahem, conservative friends. I left my "normal" life behind in the US 6 months ago. I sold most of my possessions, gave the rest to my sister, packed my bags and headed out into the world for a year of travel. My first stop?
