    As we explored the village it was as if we were transported into a different time. This mans beautiful colored turban caught my eye as we watched so many people hard at work. by: travelgirl38610 Views[170] Ouch! Most places I travel I like to fully immerse myself into the culture, when possible living with locals and leaving behind the luxuries and ease of life back home......although this is one time I'm glad I didn't have a local experience at the dentist! by: travelgirl38610 Views[231] Nice to meet you! These children in the small village were so excited to welcome us yelling The kids were so excited to have visitors and gathered around us, we had a soccer ball with us so that made us friends immediately. by: travelgirl38610 Views[157] Since this town hadn't had many tourist many of the kids just wanted to have their picture taken, and were fascinated that I could turn my camera around and they could see themselves. It was priceless to see some kids light up with smiles and funny faces, while others like this child wanted to try their best be serious. by: travelgirl38610 Views[164]

    Madhogarh is a typical small Rajasthani town; even today communities of potters, carpenters, cobblers, carpet makers, can be seen playing their trade in the centuries old traditional way. We stayed at Fort Madhogarh.
