My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I've always had a burning passion to travel the world and this seems like one of the most wonderful opportunities I've seen yet. As a photographer in training it would be absolutely paramount to my success to go on an exciting trip like this and learn from the one best like Jason Edwards. I my self have traveled a bit and always, always have my camera on me. when I spent 8 months in the interior of Alaska not to long ago I was constantly surrounded by the beauty and the vastness of the Alaska wilderness. With constant requests coming from home, with friends and family trying to live vicariously threw my images it became very important that I supplied them with the best I could do. My love for photography pushed me to get more adventurous and exciting shots as my trip progressed. one such example is a picture I took while trying to mush a dog sled across lake Manchurian in the middle of February. When it comes to pushing the boundaries of my work i always keep and open mind towards the possibilities and best angles and i think I would be a great help to Jason and he would be a great mentor.
