My Photo series is all about of a small lane of Kumortuli in kolkata where the artisans lives who creates durga idols for every puja pandals.Durga puja is the biggest festival in Kolkata.As this is their main source of earning money so they do it through the year and wait for the day when it will be sold and they will get money to live.
they make those idols in their home only where they eat and sleep as if those are the members of their house. they are god gifted talented artists but they are not recognized by anyone and also they are very poor.here i am potraying some of the glimpes of their lives with my photos.
I have just completed my graduation and seriously thinking about my photography.I am into photography for last three years and want to take it professionally.if given a chance i will prove myself in a better way.I am also an avid traveler by nature and i love discovering new places. I am hoping fot the best and eagerly waiting to go with nat geo for the assignment in Bhutan.
