My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited
Vietnam | Monday, June 10, 2013 | 5 photos
I'm a freelance non-professional photographer. Photography came to my life 3 years ago when I got my first DSLR and stepped my feet out of Vietnam and started my global adventure.
I'm a non-professional photographer because I made little money out of it. But, it gives me more than money. It made my adventure a lot of fun. I see new people and take their photos and come back to them with their photos. That's the memory. Images tell who i am and how i see, share the world with my friends.
After a while, I realize that i don’t have to travel too far to photograph and tell a story. I bought a Fuji compact camera and shoot things around me and share photos with people around me. A camera is a great tool of communication.
I am about to photograph autistic kids to raise awareness in Vietnam. It's a non-profit project. This is how I force myself to step into photography seriously. I join this competition with a serious reason: I want to refine my photography skills to successfully compete my projects.
I took these 5 photos in an adventure to the top of Fancipan, Northern Vietnam. It's my first ascent. The people I met on the way is what i want to share.
