My Scholarship entry - Catch it all with my Cam

The wildlife and the grandeur of nature always fascinates me. I would always grib a National Geographics magazine to look at the wild animals that the photographers were able to catch. Unfortunately, throughout my childhood, my family wasn't doing very well. With limited access to any wildlife photography, I always stayed up for PBS' Nature to watch the wildlife.

Now in a professional adulthood, working in the finance sector in New York City. I seek the opportunity leave the city to visit national parks and long hikes along the Appalachian Mountain, and camping with friends when possible. Photography was a new hobby that I picked up recently, and i really enjoy being able to capture and share the images seen through both my lens and eyes.

In June of this year, I took my two week vacation to drive across the United States on a road trip, and saw many different side of America that I have never saw. But there are so much to see and so little time...

I hope that I would be chosen and have the opportunity to learn from Mr. Edwards in the mysterious Peruvian Amazon and share the awesomeness of mother nature with everyone. Let everyone see things through the lens and my eyes.
