My Scholarship entry - Enchanting India

Through no fault of my own, I seem to have been destined for travel and moving around from a young age. Soon after being born in Wales to my English parents, we moved to the south west of Ireland where I grew up and went to school. A great place to start life but I was always wanting more. Always lusting for something more, I made a move to Liverpool which led me to Manchester then Norwich. Since then I have lived in Auckland, London and now Brisbane. My passion for travel and seeing new things has driven me to see most of Europe, North Africa, India, South East Asia and Australasia. What better way to document the things I see then to take photos along the way! If my SLR or my GoPro is not to hand, I always have my smartphone at the ready.

On top of this, high on my list of places to go next is South America and particularly Peru. I am dying to discover the ancient civilisations, see the amazing landscape and the colourful population. I would especially love the chance to learn more about photography along the way and take some fantastic shots of this seemingly wonderful country.

I have always been told that anything I put my mind to seems to yield great results. This prize would give exactly that!
