Photography has motivated me ever since I was a child. Images of strange environments, different cultures or prominent moments throughout history have inspired me to visit different countries, try activities and made me aware of past and present issues around the globe. It is because photography is such a powerful tool to convey ideas and provoke emotions that I chose to study it a University.

Having graduated at a time when photography is becoming increasingly accessible and people are constantly being presented with images, briefly flashing in front of their eyes as they surf the web, I strive to create images that result in them pausing for a second and provoking some form of contemplation.

Having an inquisitive and adventurous nature has resulted in meeting some inspirational characters and visiting environments that have really moved me. I am continuously motivated to get out and do things, meet new people, experience different cultures while developing my skills. Even when you think that the weather is bad, or the time isn’t right, these days often provide incredible ‘moments’ and even if they don’t, at least you got out and did something.

My dream is for this to be my day job.
