the al wallah valley of madaba, jordan.

Signing up to go on the valley al wallah hiking trip have been one of the best decisions i've made this year, after having one of the greatest connection with nature trips, seeing rocks, rivers, very big heights, almost falling a couple of times, eating fried tomatoes with people i've met that day whilst sitting on the floor with ants around me and rocks mumbling to myself how i'm sitting on sand which i'll be buried under it someday and how people should be just simple and lovely without any arrogance and hate, that trip made my year and a good part of my life.

Starting on a very high rock and then jumping down to the water with ropes tied around our waists the 7 hour walking, jumping, getting cut from rocks and sharp plants, laughing and dancing journey began. Going from rock to rock and walking around till a river comes in the way where we started to ''swim me and my group'' wearing life jackets and getting mud all over our bodies till you jump out of the water and there pops a cliff that you have to jump up to getting your hands and legs bruised in the process, the more tiring the journey was the more awesome it became having some people that you don't know scream grab my hand so you'd help them get up and get across of obstacles.

Great connections and friendships were made on that trip from basically offering a helping hand and a smiling face which is what everybody needs at least once in his and her life, I myself carried the groups water supply which i volunteered to do because nothing is more satisfying the being a helping person. having people scream to you ''Tariq !! throw us some water'' from very big heights.

Ending our trip with cooking the traditional meal of our grand parents ''friend tomatoes with onions and bread'' on campfire wood around the campfire talking to each other about life, the trip we just had & the future that we'd like to see, while offering other groups of people that we don't know some of our food and natural juice because when you're out and connecting with nature, the basic instinct of being a helping hand and a giver just happens. And while i was on the floor eating the meal with dipped bread, with ants roaming around me and on my legs, with my bruised and cut hands and legs, i kept mumbling we came from earths ground and we'll get buried in it, even though that sentence have always been on my mind, saying it whilst on ground makes you think of life...... and its simplicity.
