My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

My name is Tiphaine, I am 23 years old, I am French and currently live in Paris. I’m studying English at La Sorbonne. But, my life is at its turning point right now. Two years ago, I went to Minnesota and met Love! We're currently working on a visa so we can be together. When I was in Africa, I believe I had a great vision for the images I was capturing, but I was young, lacked resources and experience. As a result, the images are not what they could have been. However, I think that the power of the images is still intact. I just need to experience things and grow with them. I have advanced in my resources and knowledge, but I’m still looking for the same experiences. I enjoy capturing the images of our world, beauty or less pleasant reality around us. I’m doing everything in order to visit as many unique and interesting places on our planet, documenting what I can because I need it. I want to learn more. I believe that through this experience I can learn and creatively improve myself in my work and in my vision of the world. Working with long experienced photographers during this experience would be an invaluable step in my continuing education in art and science of photography.
