Photography is what I have. It is who I am, but how does that saying go?
Something like....photographers start up rich & end up poor?

I never thought I could make a living in photography, but, I have been getting closer since I've dedicated my time and energy to making a career out of it over the past 5 years. However I am far from a professional in your sense of the word & a big break, I could use.

Since 2011 I have had a summer job photographing the guests at a whitewater rafting resort, but pay is only just above minimum wage. Though it isn't about the money, I would like to avoid waitressing in the winter.

My travel photo experience is:
-across Canada (BC to Nova Scotia, Northwest Territories & the Yukon)
-Europe (Italy, France, Amsterdam & England)
-South East Asia (Thailand, Malaysia & Indonesia)
-& a bit of California.

I have unpaid experience in portrait (human & animal), cinema & music video stills, & have received basic compensation for product stills from a previous employer as well as a friends toque company.
