My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I am one of the people who are a part of the so-called “late bloomers” in the field of photography. I fell in love with this form of art when I was in highschool. I started out with just our trusty digital camera. I just do point-and-shoot and had neither formal training nor knowledge about post-processing. My pictures back then would be what-you-see-is-what-you-get photos.
When I entered college, I had this insatiable hunger to learn more when I saw the pictures of the school’s official photographer. When I saw his pictures, it drove me to explore and learn more about the world of photography.
The learning process is a never-ending cycle unless you’re six-feet under the ground. My curiosity has always been my best asset. I never stop asking until I learn. I love exploring and trying out new things. I believe that’s why photography was meant for me as it shows different stories in every angle and shot in just one place.
I bleed and breathe photography. I’ve always wanted to be a travel photographer. If I were to be chosen to go to Oman, it will be a BIG step for me as I will be trained formally at last and to see the world beyond the four corners of the Philippines.
