Just turned 66 (27/3), semi retired and regretting I spent so many years working and not travelling and writing.
I'm nevertheless well-travelled and have worked and lived extended periods in a number of countries (East and Southern Africa, UK, USA, Australia, India, Spain, Japan and a number of Latin American countries). Am quite observant and enjoy the small moments of travel, the odd interactions with strangers, the overheard conversations, the pratfalls and cringe moments that level all of us to mere humans doing the best we can... Love food, conversation, new ideas, challenges to the status quo and good humour.
