Finding-Out, Why Brazil?

BRAZIL | Saturday, 3 May 2014 | Views [196] | Scholarship Entry

A sunny day, terrible hot weather and just a pool available to refresh my body. The only water sound I could get, it was from an artificial cascade we got at home that was built together with the pool. What about go to the beach? hear the sound of the waves? feel fresh with the wind that comes and goes with the sea? enjoy the sand? lay down in the sun? get tan? hot guys in speedos? beautiful people? a drink? caipirinha maybe? hmm Sounds Good. Yes, I do accept. Let's go!
Ok, wait. I forgot I live in an Inland country. No beach, no waves, no sand, no fresh air, no hot guys in speedos. Time to wake up. This was the story of my life, for around 11 months every year. I had traveled to Brazil every year for vacation during 5 years in a row.
Brazil has been my dream place, my passion and inspiration to write, to live, to love and to get crazy. Many of you may have heard that Brazil is exotic, on its advertisement said that its attractive because of the people, their open culture, their carnaval, their beaches, and so on. But let me tell you, do not believe what you heard till you live it yourself. Let's build your own concept like I did.
Everything start that day I was by myself on my way to Rio do janeiro. As soon as the plane announced we were about to land, be prepare to find love at first sight. All the light of the houses, in a mountain landscape, green nature and a seductive sea color. Something that you won't miss from the plane view is the famous statue of Christ in the top of a mountain, and "Pan de azucar" tallest mountain of the city. These details will make you feel you are already in Brazil without even had landed.
In an apartment in front of the Copacabana beach. As soon as I woke up I went to ask for a caipirinha to one of the kiosks that are always open in the beach. Caipirinha for brazilians is like margaritas for mexicans. It tasted freaking awesome, cold, well-prepared by a professional, and guess what else?,beach, beautiful people, sand, hot guys in speedos. They are right about people in Brazil, they are very attractive, kind and seductive. men and women.
I was falling in love with the sea, that day, it was just me and myself, and I met a group of people. They invited me to play volley(something that they usually do)and I had the pleasure to join them. I went to a club in front of the ocean, in a rock mountain, perfect weather, and loud music. I liked that Brazilians do not drink to get drunk, they drink to enjoy life.
