    Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, Phnom Penh. In the heart of the vibrant city stands the most stark reminder and memorial to Cambodia's brutal past. It is a symbol of the nations desire to never forget those who suffered under the Khmer Rouge regime. In this photograph I tried to capture the emotional impact of the thousands of pictures of those killed at the former high school. It stands to this day as the most intensely emotional place I have ever visited. Views[266] This child monk was an incredible character. He told me he lived in Siem Reap and came to the Angkor temples everyday. He seemed much too serious for his age but showed no sign of animosity to the fact. He spoke much better English than i spoke Khmer, so I was able to ask him to help me compose the photograph among the busy temple. He seemed to like the final result. Views[358]
