Tram Chim National Park is a miniature of the Dong Thap Muoi region, featuring a broad and diverse range of animals and plants in the Southern Vietnam.
The total area of Tram Chim National Park is more than 7500 ha, housing as many as 200 types of birds which make up ¼ the bird population in Vietnam. Some of these birds have been put in the Red Book for a long time.
The Tram Chim National Park has been renovated and invested by the government to become a natural museum and an attractive eco-tourism site. Many international preservation organizations have also sponsored to help protecting the rare and valuable birds there.
