My trip to the land of UFOs

One of the most incredible places I have ever been to is São Tomé das Letras.
São Tomé das Letras is the fourth highest city in Brazil. It is located in the mountain ridge of "Serra da Mantiqueira" and it has only 6.665 inhabitants.
"Serra da Mantiqueira" means "mountain ridge that cries" due to the thousands and thousands of waterfalls that are found everywhere along its five hundred kilometers of extension.
São Tomé das Letras is one of the most mystical places in the world for many reasons. It is located in the state of Minas Gerais (general mines) due to the abundant mines of gold and emeralds. Its name comes from a legend about the alleged discovery in the late 18th century of a statue of São Tomé in a cave by a black slave named João Antão, along with a letter of perfect writing (impossible for an illiterate slave ).
Besides that, it is also famous because it is considered a landing place for Unidentified Flying Objects. There are many people who claim to have had close encounters of the first, second, third, fourth and even the fifth kind.
Well, there I was among all those people. I was going to stay there for a week. I did not go alone. I was with a group of five other people.
We met people from all over the world; Germany, United States, Australia, England, Argentina. A real mosaic of people, ethinicities, cultures, occupations (musicians, karfstpeople, painters, ufologists, reasearchers, wizards, witches, hippies, fortune tellers, gypsies). Like I said before, all in search of an extraordinary experience, either mystical or scientific.
On the next day, we went to the most amazing place in São Tomé das Letras, the Pyramid.
The piramid is in fact an abandoned house built at the top of a mountain in pyramidal form that has several windows, where one can see different constellations and offers a view of 360º. On holidays, the site serves as a venue for rock concerts with local bands and artists, as well as various festivals that take place there throughout the year.
We went there one night and met by a couple who was a mixture of sorcerer, hippie, gypsy and psychic. There is only one narrow path through which you can reach the pyramid. We then decided to go back to our hotel but this couple decided to stay there a little longer. It so happened that when we got to te valley below, this couple was already there, waiting for us. That was really amazing and also very strange. I will never forget that experience for the rest of my life.
