For New Torontonians

We just moved to Toronto from Mexico a few months ago. It was challenging to learn the transportation system in the city, so I thought this was the perfect opportunity to make it easier for new Torontonians.
My filmmaking experience is not that wide outside of school, I just graduated University with a Communications Degree, but the reason why We came to Toronto, is to immerse ourselves in film and TV. We have the skills and the talent to succeed, we just need an opportunity to show it.
On the other hand, Gabo (the presenter) is a popular Youtuber in Mexico, he has been doing it for over 6 years.
Since I was a kid, I wanted to make movies, because going into the theatre to watch a movie would make me feel beyond inspired, like if I somehow could change the world, and it's true, films change people's lives! That's why I would love to be part of that creative process of transforming the world.
Winning this scholarship would be absolutely exciting, because it would be our first recognition outside of Mexico and our first opportunitiy to show a lot of people from all over the world what our passion is. Plus We would be travelling to Brazil, an AWESOME destination to start our dream.
