My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I'm Fionn and I am 19 years old studying 2nd year Photography at Ryerson University in Toronto. Once I got my first DSLR, I understood the power of the world that I had just entered. My life was never going to be the same. I had the chance to capture the feelings, excitement and disappointment that comes and go. As a travel photographer, I love the smell of a new place and the excitement of what it might bring. I love everything about the unpredictable. For the past years, photography is what I dream and think about. Through photography I can use my skills in order to recreate the world I want – a world filled with dreams, hope and love. Being able to experience different cultures and see different places is all I ever wanted. I also enjoy the outdoors. I love the energy that it brings. I love the feeling of reaching an overlook that takes my breath away. Nothing stops me from being so active. Up to this day, I have dedicated my life in documenting places that I enjoy doing. Whether it will be hiking to the bottom of Grand Canyon or swimming with sharks, I will always be there with my camera(s) in my hands, a smile on my face and butterflies in my stomach.
