Eating With Locals

My subject happened by accident and was inspired by the idea that these random local people that had almost no money were inviting me to share a meal with them.

I believe that winning this scholarship will help me in many ways to achieve my goal of being a Professional Travel Documentary filmmaker. The quality of my videos have progressed significantly in the past year, but I think I am still missing something. I hope that working with a Professional Filmmaker will help me fine tune the skills I already possess as well as teach me better ways to produce compelling stories to share with viewers.

My background starts like this. One day quit my job and bought a video camera and started making short travel films for fun when I went on vacation. I learned everything I know by watching tutorials on Youtube. I quickly started recieving notice for my videos I placed on the Tripfilms Travel website and I came in second place for filmmaker of the year at Tripfilms which makes me think that maybe there is a future in videography for me.
