The Manek Chowk Square is a popular tourist destination in Ahmedabad. Apart from having heritage architecture that date back to at least six hundred years in its vicinity, Manek Chowk itself undergoes three transformations in a single day every day. It's like a time machine that magically teleports you between centuries as you make your way through its quaint alleys. There is no way one can miss filming or visiting this place.
I have worked as an actor for a while and wish to get back to it when I find the time and the opportunity. I am currently in the last leg of my graduation in filmmaking from on of (in fact THE) best media institute in India.
My ambition as filmmaker/presenter is to produce world class travel show content for Indian television. Winning this scholarship would not only give me the much required head start for the same but it would be ridiculously awesome to be mentored by Brian Rapsey.
