My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I’ve just returned from travelling solo in Asia and I’ve come back with a deep sense of gratitude to this magnificent world we live in and the wonderful souls that inhabite it. I always loved people, I get fascinated by individuals, even if I do enjoy studio portraits, street photography is what I love. Taking portraits without being seen and engaging with people not make them uncomfortable, telling a person’s story in the most honest way, is a source of great happiness to me. This opportunity would teach me all I know I struggle with, from technical settings to the professional way a photographer act and work. Winning this scholarship would be the strongest full-on teaching, seeing Jason at work and being able to assist him would give me a wonderful insight on what being a real photographer on assignment would be as well as learning tips and absorbing the energies of a team work. I’d like to be a photographer so respectful of places visited that will add something to the experience and not only take the best shot no matter what, someone that would show people in front of her they are not the next picturesque face on Flikr, but someone with a story it would be lovely to tell.
