I just had to stop for a moment and take a deep breath - she was starring back at me with a calm amazement and I just went numb - how many people have You seen walking by?Did they ever stop to just gaze at Your beauty? She didn't answer - she was just standing there - with that strange wise expression in here eye.She has seen the seasons going by - just standing there...still - the birds flying over here bringing her news from around the world - not even a pinch.Does she even care that I am here?!I don't know...I just feel small and insignificant.Words escape me the Earth gave me a look for the first time and it pierced right through my soul...So serene and peaceful reflecting the sky above me and I just was a part of it. This was my first and last time to the Balea Lake up in the mountains - after a long drive on a the Transfagarasan Highway - as they say probably the best road in the world....the perfect escape...
