The Dead Day carpe diem

We have a lot of old traditions in Lithuania, one of them is to remember our dead relatives and friends by lighting a candle for them in the cemetery on the All Souls Day. But for more then 10 years a new tradition tries to get into Lithuania - Halloween. The contrast between peaceful day of the dead and Halloween party was one of the biggest reasons why we chose this subject.

We are begginers (still students) of filmmaking. But situation in our country's film industry is quite poor and to train yourself as a filmmaker is a challenge. So this opportunity for us would mean a lot.

We love travel - we spend our last money just to see new places and to experience new traditions. It's everything. Exploring and capturing the world is everything for us.
