To know that I am the only artist in my family gives me a chance to actually think that I have something to strive for. Also to know that I am the only rising photographer in my neighborhood; The Bronx, tells me that I have an invisible title across my waist. If i were to be chosen for this scholarship I think I have fulfilled something greg in my life and a start to a new beginning. My gaol in life is to be remembered as the kid that made it from the bronx because before I leave this earth I want to leave a foot step in time. I want to leave a smile on my mother and fathers face before they also leave this earth and I want to leave with a smile also. I figured out that in a way, to have a camera and take pictures is kind of like a super power you get to stop moments in a frame and keep them forever. At the moment I am attending Bronx Community College to peruse my life as being a Photographer and Graphic Designer. I am a 19 year old Dominican Born and raised in New York City with a younger brother a older sister and a cat named Oreo. Right now I am speaking my mind at 2 A.M in the morning hoping that this will be my ticket to my dream as being a young photographer without limit.
