Hello to all of you fellow nomads and you not so nomads. Yes, even a hello to all of you wish you could wanna be wanna be nomads. Oh yeah, hello to all of you whom have your roots and you ain't movin.
So the last couple of days, my misadventures turn out to be mellow and not so adventurous after all. I spent all of my time booking my trip. Nothing like leaving the most important details of the trip until the last minute. Things like where your going to go, where to stay, how to get there. If you ask me and your not I am just telling you.... being a fly by the seat of your pants adventurer is the best. Planning is for the birds and others whom shall remain nameless to protect the innocent. Surprises rule..
Ok, so I am still getting over the whole snow in Malibu, California thing. Last week the place was on fire and this week it's covered in ice. I am not sure but I think I prefer the fire. For me it's still shorts and tee shirt weather. Everyone thinks I am nuts and for good reason I understand. Some times you feel like a nut and some times you don't.... Well, Los Angeles, California is fun. The 24/7 traffic congestion a pace of life that makes race horses look slow and an ever growing loss of americana for mexicana. But anyhow I have a bunch of family that lives down this way, so I had to go for a visit.
It may be said that I don't come visit enough. That is true and I blame myself and I will promptly flog myself as soon as possible. But you know how life comes at you. It's full throttle for me. I need to learn to slow down and smell the roses before I am pushing daisies. To all the relatives I got to see I am sorry I couldn't have made the visits longer but I know you would have been sick of me if I spent more than 10 seconds with ya.. LOL. And to those whom I didn't get to see I will be leaving tracks in your living room soon. So be warned. I will be coming for you...... Ok, well its off to finish packing. Need to pack for 6 weeks and multiple climates and still be totally mobile. Luckily for me I don't have fashion sense and well wrinkles in clothes don't bother me so its all getting stuffed in one little backpack. My problem is I set a higher priority on cameras and they get most of the room. Will one pair of pants and one pair of socks be enough for 6 weeks. I don't need shirts, right?
