A 12 year old village girl is smiling shyly and firmly holds her best friend. The calf curiously tries to smell the kitten. The little trio is tranquil and in peace.

-17°C. At first sight, a lonely barn stands surrounded by snow and silence in a remote countryside. However, the life inside is in full swing. Nine cows, one calf and little kitten share one roof.

Milk tasting. During the milking of the cows (which happens twice a day at 6am and 6pm) one of the inhabitants of the barn sits on the milk cans and the buckets patiently waiting for his share of fresh milk.
