The Buganda Kingdom monarch located right in the centre of Kampala Uganda's capital holds an annual cultural Expo to showcase the kingdom's culture and traditional beliefs. I visited this years expo held right at the king's palace to take in and savour the sights and sounds of Buganda culture.These photos tell a story about the activities at this expo. I work in conservation and greatly desire to master the art of photography. Although new to the field of photograhpy I take picutres of wildlife and nature when my work takes me to the field or when on a nature hike as part of a nature club of which i am a member. I have become very passionate about taking pictures and love images that capture the warmth and mood of a moment. National Geographics pictures are truly worth 1000 words and i'm so excited at this chance to learn the art of taking such breathtaking pictures alongside what I consider the world's finest in outdoor photographs. I am also excited to learn about the existance of worldnomads.com a place where like minded people with a hobby for travel photography like me can come together to share. i am very grateful for this opportunity to vie for this once in a lifetime learning opportunity in the world of photography.
