My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited - Idul Fitri - Breaking the Fast

I've always been an adventurer! At the age of 3, I decided to pack my kindy port with shoes and go off and see the world. I got over the other side of the road and didn't know where to go next. I remember being so unhappy about that. At 5 my father joined the RAAF, that's when the real adventures began. We travelled every couple of years to different areas in Australia and then to Malaysia. My Dad was into photography and I would go with him to the camera shop and watch whilst he spent hours deciding on camera equipment. At that time I got my own Kodak Instamatic camera for a birthday and started my photographic career. Coming back to Australia and being a teenager, I let it all slide until 2005, when I decided to go back to what I loved so many years ago, I started a course at RMIT and practiced, practiced, practiced. Since then, I have travelled all over Australia, I've sailed to the Solomon Islands and throughout the Whitsundays, I've captured images from as a tour guide through the Kimberley, WA and now as a Kakadu National Park tour guide. I know that I would learn so much from Jason and we would be a sensational partnership, as we have so much in common. Choose ME!
