Waking up one morning while staying with family i haven't seen in ten years i decided it was time for a fresh start away from it all. Taking a spontaneous train ride filled with hope i landed here in New york city. Film experience for me goes as far as shooting this video with my webcam and taking pictures with my blackberry. Not having much capitol for cameras or equipment fills my cup labeled "life" with ambition spiked with dedication. My drive to present joy and love around the world through whatever way i can makes me who i am. Winning this scholarship to me would mean it's time for me to stretch my legs and reach for that first stepping stone. The path seems long ahead being only nine teen years old, I'm sure I'll take a dip or two while I'm on my way but i know the grass is greener on the other side. We all need that opportunity to take the first step weather it is handed to us or earned. Not knowing if we will fall or stay above waters, in the end i guess what matters is that we tried. If you show me where to place my foot in this industry we'll have smiles all along the way to the other side. Will you send a curious teenager to see the world?
